About
Your local Toronto home-service specialist.
Smood Services is an owner-operated appliance installation and gas fitting business working across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The person who answers the phone is the person who does the work, and every review on our public record names him.

What we
actually do.
Most of our record is appliances: wall ovens and over-the-range microwaves, dishwashers, ranges and hoods, refrigeration and laundry pairs. What sets the work apart is what comes with them. Gas line and appliance installation is the specialty, so the line that feeds a range, the drop for a gas dryer and the run out to a barbecue are our own service rather than a second contractor booked around us.
The plumbing follows the same logic. The water line to a fridge, the drain behind a washer, the disposal under a new sink and the shut-off valve that seized years ago are all part of the same visit. Heating covers gas fireplaces, furnaces, tank and tankless water heaters, and the dryer vent nobody has cleared since the house was built.
The photographs on this site are our own, shot on the job. Where we can point to a customer by name, we link to the review rather than paraphrase it. Where we cannot, we say so instead of filling the gap.
Why homeowners call us back.
One person does the whole job
The machine, the gas line that feeds it, the pipework behind it and the test at the end are one visit and one specialist, not three contractors on three days.
You hear the price first
A repair starts with a flat service call so the fault is found before anything is quoted. You get the number before a part is touched, and you can stop there.
The house gets protected
Mats down, doors off their pins where the route needs it, and the room left cleaner than we found it. It is the unglamorous half of the job and it is half the job.
Seven days, early and late
Published hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. · seven days a week. That is not a promise of same-day service, it is when the phone is answered and when work actually gets booked.
Nothing is finished until it runs
Burners lit, cycles run, connections leak-checked, and a carbon monoxide reading taken at the hearth on any fireplace we service.
Our work carries a two-year warranty
On the installation and on the repair. If something we did stops doing what it should, we come back to it.
