What usually
turns out to be wrong.

An appliance install is decided before the machine arrives. The opening has to take it, the route into the house has to clear it, and the gas, water or power behind it has to be right for what is going in. That is where most of the trouble sits: a range wider than the counter gap, a hood with nowhere to duct, a fridge with no water line, a three-prong receptacle behind a machine that came with no cord. We settle all of that first, then set the machine.

  • The opening and the route are two measurements

A range that fits the counter gap will not always fit the stair turn or the front door. We take the opening, the doorways and the corners before a model is settled on.

  • A new range with an old receptacle

Electric ranges arrive without a cord, and the cord has to match the outlet already on the wall. Older houses often still have a three-prong 240-volt receptacle, and a photograph of it settles which cord the range needs.

  • The hood nobody ducted

A hood is only as good as its duct. We check the soffit, the joist run and the discharge direction, set the blower for vertical or rear, and fit the damper so the air actually leaves the room.

  • No water line for the ice maker

Plenty of fridge bays have a receptacle behind them and nothing else. Running a line to one is a route decision as much as a plumbing job, and it costs less settled before the delivery than on the day.

  • Gas appliances need a line, not a connector

Moving from electric to gas is a new run sized for the appliance, not a hose onto the nearest pipe. Gas fitting is our own service, so the line, the hookup and the lit-burner test happen in one visit.

  • Built-ins where a millimetre matters

Panel-ready columns, flush-set dishwashers and stacked wall ovens go into cabinetry that is already paid for. Doors get aligned, panels set flush, and nothing is forced or marked on the way in.

What the job includes.

  • Delivery and haul-away

The new machine comes in on our truck if you want it to, and the old one goes out on the same trip with the crating and the foam. The garage stays empty.

  • The route protected

Mats down the hallway, doors off their hinges where the opening is tight, handrails padded on a stair. The unglamorous half of the job, and the half that decides how your floor looks afterwards.

  • Every connection, in one visit

Gas lines and hookups, water supplies and drains, dryer venting and hood ducting. It is one visit and one crew rather than three contractors booked around each other.

  • Set, levelled and aligned

Feet adjusted, anti-tip brackets fixed, doors aligned against the cabinets either side, and panel fronts sitting flush with the run they belong to.

  • Tested in front of you

Burners lit, cycles run, ice makers filled and dryers brought up to heat before anything is called finished. The work carries a two-year warranty.

How the visit goes.

  1. 01Before you orderSend the model number and the opening: width, height, depth to the wall. We tell you what fits and what has to change first.
  2. 02Booking around the deliveryBook the install after the delivery window, not inside it. We work to 9 p.m. seven days, so a truck landing late isn’t automatically a second visit.
  3. 03The dayMats down, old machine disconnected and out, the bay cleaned, then the new unit connected, levelled and set square against the cabinets.
  4. 04The test, then the filmEvery connection checked and every machine run before the packaging and the old unit leave with us. The protective film comes off last.

Appliance Installation questions.

If yours isn’t here, the phone is the fastest way to have it answered, seven days a week.

  • Installation work is currently 30% off, and the price follows what the job actually needs. A like-for-like swap into an existing opening is the simple end. A gas line run to a new range position, a hood ducted through a soffit or a water line to a fridge is more work, and we quote it on what we find rather than on a list price.

Tell us what’s arriving.

One call covers the installation or the repair: what the job involves, what it costs, and when we can be there.
